Welcome to the official webpage of the Durham University Ski & Snowboard Club, or DUSSC for short.
DUSSC is the largest sports club within Durham University. Members compete in snow sports competitions across the country and enjoy some of the best social events in the city. Whether you are a seasoned pro who has just come back from a winter in the mountains or you are a complete beginner who wants to give snowsports a try, DUSSC is the right club for you. Our club aims to enable all students, regardless of ability, to enjoy the benefits of snow sports at the university.
The Club’s home training base is Silksworth Sports Complex in Sunderland. We run weekly two hour race sessions with professional coaches and our freestyle academy runs weekly trampolining sessions, fortnightly Castleford Sno Zone sessions and has consultation from GB coaches. Competitions run between October and April each year.
In short, we think DUSSC gives you all you need. With us you can book onto two ski trips to the Alps each year, train weekly with our race and freestyle teams, join our famous socials, and much much more.
